image Newtown and Newtown Center, MA & related, postal history collection, over 200 mostly covers and entires, from stampless to the early 20th century, consisting of Newton (33) including a stampless FL to Aspinwall, the U.S. Consul in London, #65 strip of 3 on cover to Germany, a civil war patriotic, few registered including 1936 to Hong Kong, Auburndale (9), Chestnut Falls (5), Newtown Centre (55) begins with the only recorded 5¢ 1847 cover (ex Craveri; Newton Centre did not receive any 1847 stamps), stampless with red straightline, a beautiful all over Spanish American War patriotic, some foreign destinations including Bahamas, Burma, India (2), South Australia, some fancy cancels and registered, Newton Highlands (15), Newton Lower Falls (14), Newton Upper Falls (19) including a Civil War patriotic and fancy cancels, Newtonville (16), West Newton (38), Waban (4), neatly arranged on stockpages including many with lot labels from the old Nutmeg auction lot cards with the estimated values which add to approximately $3,000, some faults as always, in 2 Scott National album binders with slipcases, generally Fine to Very Fine, a true labor of love from a passionate collector collecting his hometown; fully imaged online.
