image Accumulation of 136 World War II Blackout Cancel Covers, with Victoria BC / Sidney NS (x26), Vancouver BC (x52) and Halifax NS (x58) covers (and a few cards), a better than usual lot in that the great majority (95% +) of the covers importantly have business corner cards (some illustrated) proving the origin of the blackouts. Within each town we note a variety of machine postmarks, and saw a few scarce c.d.s. as well. The covers appear to be chronological, which gives a good idea of the postmarks' wear and usage timelines. Also includes about a half dozen cut outs (identified by owner, not counted in total).
