Provisional manuscript district diagonally reading upward left to right, tied by "Zacatecas, Noviembre 19" boxed date stamp (Schatzkes 1851) on 1858 docketed folded letter sheet to Guadalajara; stamp with margin tears from horizontal file fold, Very Fine appearance, a rare usage during the transition of the Zacatecas Postmaster move to Aguascalientes. During the Civil War, from November 3, 1858 to November 30, 1858, the Zacatecas Postmaster moved to Aguascalientes, Sub-Office of the District, and due to the fact that handstamp device was lost, the Postmaster overprinted the stamps by hand, giving origin to the Zacatecas Manuscripts.
