image British Philatelic Association, The Work of Jean De Sperati, Two-volume bound set consisting of text and plates, of books and Sperati stamp reproductions, tag bound in front of the table of contents notes this is No. 391 of 500 first editions, matching green covers in an impressive state of preservation with only very minor wear, also includes "The Work of Jean De Sperati II" by Robson Lowe and Carl Walske (pub. 2001 by the Royal Philatelic Society of London) which includes previously unlisted forgeries that Walske purchased directly from the Sperati family that had not been seen previously (famed philatelic literature dealer Leonard Hartman offers this book alone for $300), only 500 sets issued and one very rarely appears on the market.
