Mexico, 1856-2023, an extensive and powerful mint and used collection, housed in 3 Scott Specialty albums, with nice early issues, and essentially complete for regular issue stamps from 1920 to about 2014 and actually becomes predominately mint hinged from 1940 to about 1960 where it become all n.h. throughout; plenty of airmails and back of the book which make up the third album (1922-41). This is a fantastic collection with plenty of spaces to fill especially high values in the early issues but loaded with many souvenir sheets and full sheets; if you collect Mexico this is for you! We have only imaged up through about 1980 to give you a flavor of the magnitude of this collection - it just keeps going! overall Very Fine. Scott approximately $10,000+. Estimate $1,000 - 1,500. Mexico, 1975-91, a phenomenal specialized collection of the Exporta issues, neatly mounted and identified on 65 pages; these issues are quite similar to Machins with their different perforations, large/small hole perforations, paper variety, color differences and fluorescence; the lot also includes a photocopy of James Vadeboncoeur's 75 page book, The Exporta of Mexico, 1993. It covers the years 1975 through 1992 and has much information on the Exportas; also included is a detailed inventory along with samples of the paper types 1-7. This is a great beginning to a wonderful exhibit! Fully imaged on the web. Estimate $300 - 400. View a PDF of images for this lot Suggested Bid $300-400 (Image)
