UNITED STATES: Hand-drawn " Black Man announcing addressee" on Postal Stationery 1926 Liberty Bell, Type I. canceled by ADA OHIO FEB 14 duplex cancel addressed to E.R. Bondley in Marion Ohio.
The envelope was probably sent by Elmer R Bondley (1874–1964) to his wife Emma R Bondley (1878-1959) based upon the Valentines Day postmark. AUSTRALIAN STATES; Queensland; Hand drawn black Vaudeville Performer on envelope bearing 1879-1881 2p grey blue, tied by indistinct oval cancel (TOOWOOMBA JA 2 00). The Vaudevillian, carries a billboard with the addressing to Hobart, Tasmania. An Impressive cover.
AUSTRALIA; WWII Military Mail; 1944 Hand-drawn commentary using "Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck and a Kangaroo" . This witty cover bears a 1944 3p brown Australia stamp tied to the cover by a 16 FE 44 FIELD POST OFFICE 042 c.d.s. likely in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea posted to Parkes, N.S.W. (some typical staining). Manuscript "AIR MAIL" as well as Purple boxed AUSTRALIAN MILITARY FORCES PASSED BY CENSORS 3294 . The Illustration appears to be signed and has a caption "HI YA DIG". The three characters appear to be shaking hands.

AUSTRALIA; WWII Military Mail; 1937 -46: Hand-drawn "Homeward Bound" ship and dreamy island. The cover bears a 4d green Koala on the hand-drawn and colored off white "BY AIR MAIL" envelope, tied by BASE PO 7 MD 18 ( Katherine Medical Base) indistinct date. Hand stamped "Department of the Army Concessional Postage Rate" probable sent at the end of the war, given the caption and lack of censor marking.
AUSTRIA: 1903 Hand-drawn "Walking Vagabond" on 5h postcard. Canceled by indistinct " c.d.s. and 20.7 in oval bars addressed to Krieglach the drawing is of a "crooked old man" with a crooked cane, knock knees and knapsack. Inscription in Austrian.

GERMAN OFFICES IN CHINA: Pen and Ink Japanese scene on both stationery and envelope . Matching stationery written from Daiian China to Germany. Written in German, the writer questions why he has not heard from his friend in 10 years and wishes to catch up from school days as his time in China nears an end. Lovely pen and ink scene with 2 1/2 German China 2 1/2 Dollar on 5 Mark, the stamp is attached, but does not belong to the envelope.

The envelope bears a complete but cut 1d red with the bottom of the stamp placed on the top, tied by WARWICK JUN 15 1866 duplex cancel light JUN 16 66 with "---LLANO___" The Great Britain Artist is Chenthoven who was a prolific cover doodler. .

Artist notation "There are cows R.P.S." sent to Ms. B Neale in Blackpoole with small talk about getting together. The card is a green 1/2p postal card canceled with a South Hampton (see reverse) 6 Pos c.d.s.. A very mooving piece.

GREAT BRITAIN: 1904 Local Postal Card with hand-drawn and colored old time Scottish face, beard and hat with pen notation, " Illustrated songs Douglas and quoted, Come back to me, Douglas, Douglas! In the old likeness I used to know". Also a notion to "E" to let her know that he posted her bother's letters. The card bears a 1/2 d green adhesive, tied to card by PENZANCE OCT 23 c.d.s. Very interesting.

The front (tear). Addressed to Sargent W.S. Perry in India bearing a 1904 green & red 2d. Edward tied by WOOLWICH NO 25 04 c.d.s.. A fun illustration.

Linden" and the cover is sent to the New Kings' theater in Sunderland bearing a 1907 1p red tied with a SHEPHERDS BUSH JA 21 c.d.s., backstamped SUNDERLAND JA 25. A wonderfully illustrated cover.
GREAT BRITAIN: Christmas 1909 a man sends a hand-drawn postcard to his "gal" and a picture is worth 1000 words. A Christmas message from George to Floss in 1909 picturing the two lovers under the mistletoe. The card is addressed to Miss F. Christmas in Surrey., bearing a 1909 1/2 d postcard (pre-printed), cancelled by EAST CLANDON GUILFORD DE 22 09 c.d.s.. A very creative.
GREAT BRITAIN 1915; hand-drawn and painted with water colors the TITANIC "in mid ocean" . The postcard is addressed to Miss. Wallis, the "aunty" of George. "thinking of you" and wishing her well. The Titanic sunk three years earlier taking 1500 souls, so we are not certain what a psycologist would say about George's subject, as pretty as it is. A 1915 1/2p green Edward VII is affixed and tied by GUILDFORD 25 SEP 15 wavy c.d.s., Interesting card.
GREAT BRITAIN: Two hand-drawn and colored fronts one depicting Arabs and a 5c stamp, the other has bed bugs . Both covers are addressed to "Miss Romaine". The Arabs is addressed to 14 Connaught Place in London. 12,13,14 Connaught Place was also known as "Stanhope House" built in 1899–1901 to a design by W. H. Romaine-Walker and Francis Besant . The second front shows "bed bugs" and is addressed to Ickwell Bury Biggleswade, a property in Bedfordshire a large estate which once was home to the Horton Preparatory School, which may explain the subject of this front. Two interesting historic pieces.
