image 1919 single frame (16 pages) exhibit entitled "The British Main Line Military Railway Post Office in Europe in 1919", showing 25 covers or cards (plus two photographs), all examples of mail from the British APOs transported by the BEF trains from soldiers in the Rhineland area of Germany, arriving in Boulogne, making stops at Duren, Namur, Charleroi, Valenciennes, Lille and Calais. There were Postal Markings involved, but many indicated "UP" or "DOWN" depending if the train was travelling East or West.
