Embossed issues include 1847 1s pale green (cut to shape) on an 1854 cover to India (£1900), and 1854 6d mauve (cut close or just in) on an 1855 Ship Letter to Sydney, Australia. Surface printed issues include 9 covers to the U.S.A. with 3d, 6d and 1s stamps, used 1861-1874 (£3560), the best being an 1870 cover to New York with a 3d pair (£750) and another 1870 cover with a single 3d (£500). There are also 2 later covers of less value (1890-1901). Condition is V.G. for the embossed issue covers and averages Fine for the surface printed. A nice lot for the postal history enthusiast.
