FSAT (1956) Scott C1. Yvert PA2 Beautiful Hand colored Artist Proof ! VF. Sad and frustrating story but shows that the expertiser that you choose is important and he should not be outside his comfort zone! This lot had been sold to as collector for $755 in May 1998. The buyer sent it the Royal Philatelic Society for expertisation. The Committees said that it was a Deluxe Sheet, not an Artist Proof. If you look at the brochure that accompanies this sale, you will see immediately that it is not a Deluxe Sheet (no name of the printer and no perforation at the bottom). The buyer returned it and a letter was sent to the Royal Philatelic Society. No response! The exchange of correspondence will supplied with the lot, offered now at a much reduced price!
