1865, French Expeditionary Forces, Bureau K, cover to Strasbourg franked with a France 1862, 20c blue, tied by partial "C(EM) K" dotted lozenge with mostly clear "Corps Exp. Mexique/ Bau.(K), 3 Mai (65)" c.d.s., endorsed "Guaymas" on the back and backstamped Paris (Jul 11) & Strasbourg (Jul 12), Very Fine. Despite the fact that the "CEM" is not clearly struck, the "K" is unmistakable, and covers from Bureau K are exceedingly rare, with a 1985 M.E.P.S.I. certificate. (Image)
