Valuable Collection of Mint and Used Canada, 1852-1953, with mostly mint and a little used sprinkled here and there, and 98% complete from #66 to the end. The mint stamps enclosed in clear mounts are mostly never hinged, and those include, but are not limited to #s 50-58, 60, 67-69, 72, 73, 75, 78, 81, 82, 84-88, 89, 90, 90A pair, 92, 99, 101, 103, 106, 107, 109, 110, 114, 117, 124-126 in pairs, 131-132 and 134 in pairs, 155-159, 166-177, 178-180 and 183 in join pairs, 181-182 in pairs, 195-201, 205-207 in pairs, 223-227, 228-230 in pairs, 241-245 and more. We also note a mint #15 (which appears to have a removed cancel so counted as used), an unused (no gum) #20. We note small faults on only a few early issues, else overall fine to very fine. There is frequently more than one iteration of the same issue, and we note a few varieties such as #806a. A spot check revealed several sets, booklet panes, or souvenir sheets cataloguing $10 to $30 and up. Scott 2021 catalogue value for the collection totals U$4,604.
