Service" cover (Scott 96-103), an exhibition-worthy item sure to start many a conversation, a Registered Aug. 4, 1908 cover used locally in Winnipeg, franked by Large and Small Queens, Jubilees, 1898 Christmas issue varieties (two imprint singles), Quebec Tercentenary complete, 1¢ King Edward VII with inverted "Winnipeg/For/Third/Class/Matter/Only" overprint, plus #E1 for good measure; all tied by Winnipeg c.d.s.'s with red straightline "Registered." and black "R"-in-oval markings; cover slightly reduced at right; absolutely philatelic and absolutely magnificent, Very Fine eye appeal.
