Re-directed to Tel Aviv, because toward the end of 1947, it became to dangerous for Jews to enter Beersheba, and had all their mail forwarded to PO Box 560, Tel Aviv. At the beginning of 1948 all women and children were sent north to Kfar Vitkin and all normal post mail service to Beit Eshel was stopped and all mail travelled in both directions only occasionally when carried by patrols or piper airplane!
