EXTREMELY FINE GEM. A STUNNING LIGHTLY-HINGED EXAMPLE OF THE 6-CENT 1869 PICTORIAL ISSUE, GRADED XF-SUPERB 95 BY BOTH P.S.E AND THE PHILATELIC FOUNDATION.

This stamp was recently uncovered in an old-time collection of classics in beautiful post-office fresh condition. This is its first appearance at auction.

With 2018 P.F. (XF-Superb 95) and 2018 P.S.E. certificates (XF-Superb 95; SMQ $13,750.00). This is one of only five examples to achieve this grade from P.S.E. -- the highest awarded (Image)
