On album pages in three binders, plus some loose material (which has significant value), the collector took some areas much more serious than others, so that while many colonies contain stamps only in the 1935-1953 period, others have earlier stamps and varieties, this is particularly true of the Middle East colonies, especially on the surcharged stamps of Great Britain, where numerous varieties can be found, a few 19th Century, including Canada 1897 Jubilee used to the $5.00, a small number of used, such as Maldive Islands No. 1-6 with B.P.A. certificates, vast majority Fine-Very Fine, a highly desirable and saleable lot of British Commonwealth
