This address in the same hand is found on a Cushing's Express Trans-Mississippi cover. They were probably addressed by Capt. Watson Dugat Williams, Co. F., 5th Texas Regiment, who married Laura Bryan in 1865.

VERY FINE APPEARANCE. A RARE NAME-OF-BOAT HANDSTAMP FOR THE STEAMER TWILIGHT, STRUCK ON A COVER BEARING THE FIRST CONFEDERATE GENERAL ISSUE.
The Twilight operated on the Mississippi and Ouachita Rivers. The oval handstamp had a changeable slug for the day -- the other day we have seen is Saturday.
