C1 (18), C2 (15), C5 (20) C6 (7), C18 (21), F1 (21), E7 (70), Offices in China also with some large quantities such as Nos. K3 (30), K5 (22), K7 (10), K8 (27), K18 (31), Parcel Post, some others, also quantities of souvenir sheets such as 730 (10) and 731 (85), some faults, centering varies, some Mint N.H.

OVERALL FINE-VERY FINE. A PHENOMENAL OLD-TIME DEALER'S STOCK, CONTAINING MASSIVE QUANTITIES OF A WIDE RANGE OF POPULAR STAMP ISSUES. WE HAVE NOT ENCOUNTERED A HOLDING SUCH AS THIS IN A VERY LONG TIME.

Looking at these albums reminds us of our younger days, going to shops or shows and spending hours picking out just the right stamp for our collection, handing over our hard-earned snow shoveling money to a patient dealer. Our rough catalogue value exceeds $160,000.00, counting all stamps as hinged and without any premium for better multiples such as blocks of four and imprint and plate no. pairs or strips

855   Stock and Accumulation. Thousands of mostly used stamps, most are arranged in glassines by Scott number, includes popular higher values such as nine No. 1 and three No. 2, several 90c 1869 Pictorial, and dollar-value Columbians, but there is also quantities of lower and medium-priced stamps, such as over 1,000 copies of No. 275, which catalogues $40.00 each, similar priced items in quantities of hundreds each, goes through the 1922 Issue, plus useful Back-of-Book and some Possessions, also some better unused, a small group is not organized (but contains better items), condition is mixed, the total catalogue value is enormous, our estimate reflects only a miniscule percentage of that

856   Collection Balance, 19th Century. Red Scott Platinum album containing mostly unused stamps, starts in 1847 with unused appearing No. 2 but cancel removed, 1851 Issue with 7 and 9, also Nos. 8 and 16 unused appearing with cancels removed, 1857 Issue with denominations to 30c, 1861-66 Issue to 90c including No. 66, nice showing of Grills, 1861 Re-Issue includes Nos. 102, 103 and 105, nice group of 1869 Pictorials and Re-Issue with some higher denominations, nice group of Bank Notes to 90c with some grilled, some sets complete such as Nos. 212-218 and 219-229, Columbians represented by 1c-50c and $3.00, 1894-98 Bureau Issue with unwatermarked from 1c-50c plus $2.00, watermarked to $2.00, Trans-Mississippi from 1c-50c plus $2.00, Pan-Americans complete, a significant number of stamps are either regummed or have disturbed original gum, our theory is that the collection was housed in another album that was exposed to moisture and it was then rehoused in this beautiful album, many of the no gum stamps, such as Scott 77, still have significant catalogue value, a few may have been cleaned or have cancels removed but our careful examination saw only a few (such as No. 13), some have faults but most appear Fine-Very Fine, this lot has tremendous catalogue value, twelve with certificates from the 1970s and 1980s, the three better cancel removed stamps with 2018 P.F. certificates
