Sep. 5" circular datestamp on albino embossed "Superintendent's Office, Virginia Military Institute" corner card cover to Richmond Va., an adversity use made from a mathematical table, cover with some light soiling and faint mathematical notations at top which were no doubt present before the table was converted to an envelope, Very Fine, while we have encountered a number of overall lithographed VMI covers, this is a very unusual embossed design (Image)
