2578   J.C. Morgenthau, Auction Catalogs, 1907-1927. Significant run of approximately 185 catalogs from 1907-1927, not all sales are present for the time period but some important named sales are included such as Worthington (five separate sales), Pack (Sale 38), Eagle, Thorne, Britton, Strauss, Wolters (Sales 1-10) and many others, the paper used for the covers is very brittle and most show effects of acidification with faults, the insides of the catalogs were printed on higher quality paper and are in much better condition, a rare and seldom seen run from this pioneering early 20th Century auction house

2584   Color Standards and Color Nomenclature by Ridgway. 1912 hardbound revised and expanded edition, color plates and text are immaculate except for a few yellows with some oxidation, tissue sheets between plates are all present, cover is intact and strong with only minor wear and rubbing, hinges nicely reinforced with cloth tape compatible in color to the end sheets, Very Fine and rare, the most sought after reference work concerning color, this 1912 edition greatly expanded and corrected the 1886 edition
