VERY FINE APPEARANCE. AN EXTREMELY RARE EXAMPLE OF THE E. T. HAZELTINE 4-CENT ON EXPERIMENTAL SILK PAPER. ONLY FIVE ARE RECORDED IN THE ALDRICH CENSUS.

This is one of the rarest of all Match & Medicine stamps printed on experimental silk paper. Of the five recorded in the Aldrich book, four are listed as faulty and three are listed with centering worse than Fine. (Image)
