3914 og U.S. Unused Collection, 1873-1965. Scott National album with nearly all unused stamps, mounted in "coffin" mounts so very difficult to assess gum, however we were surprised that many of the individual lots taken out were Mint N.H., as such we expect original gum as the norm and the winning bidder may be pleasantly surprised by some Mint N.H. (our estimate is based on all hinged through the Washington-Franklins), earliest are a few Bank Notes incl Nos. 156, 206, 216-217, 1890 Small Bank Notes complete, Columbians through the 50c, 1894-98 Bureaus with a few of the unwatermarked incl. No. 260, watermarked complete through the 50c with the change of colors, Trans-Mississippi complete through the 50c, Pan-Americans complete, 1902 issue through the $1.00 (less 50c) incl. No. 315, Louisiana Purchase and Jamestown complete, strength in Washington-Franklins with Nos. 330-342, range of perf 12 and perf 8.5 coil singles (line pairs removed from this collection got good P.F. certificates), Nos. 374-381, Panama-Pacific complete, other Washington-Franklins incl. better Nos. 422-423, 459, 478, 480, also 499-518 incl. No. 500, Nos. 523-524 and 547, 1922 Issue complete, White Plains sheet, later issues largely complete, Back-of-Book incl. C1-C6, Special Delivery, Offices in China and Parcel Post complete, Hunting Permits incl. RW1 and RW4-5, few others, nice condition and centering nearly throughout, a fresh and Very Fine collection
