930° og ImageSTRAITS SETTLEMENTS, 1894, 3c on 32c Rose, Without Surcharge (74a; SG 94a). Full original gum, lightly hinged, spectacular color that is incredibly deep and rich, superbly detailed impression on pristine white paper, centered to the top right as are all known examples

FINE. AN EYE-CATCHING EXAMPLE OF THE 1894 32-CENTS ROSE WITH SURCHARGE OMITTED. ONLY ONE PANE OF SIXTY WAS DISCOVERED IN SINGAPORE.

We doubt a finer example of this error exists. The color is as fresh as the day it was printed. The gum is also uncharacteristically fresh, with a single light hinge mark and tiny pencil note.
