Ample to mostly large margins tied by fancy oval cancel on greenish 1856 folded letter to Lanman Kemp, New York, perfect strike of blue "Guayama, Puerto Rico, 1 Oct 56" double-circle datestamp, blue Admon Gral, Puerto Rico and Havana transit backstamps, carried by Spanish mail packet Valesco to Havana, then by American steamer Black Warrier, entered U.S. mails with "Steamship 10" due handstamp of New York

VERY FINE. A HANDSOME FIRST ISSUE COVER WHICH IS SELDOM FOUND IN THIS CHOICE CONDITION.
