Includes Roman States 1852 50b Dull Blue (Scott 10) with original gum, slightly into design and with clear Raybaudi certificate, Neapolitan Provinces 1861 50g Slate Blue (Scott 27b) used, with P.F. certificate noting a strengthened crease, Sardinia 1855 20c Indigo pair, one without embossing, large part original gum, with Raybaudi certificate, other Sardinia singles and multiples without embossing (some with certificates), plus some early Kingdom of Italy stamps, including 1865 20c on 15c rare Type II (Scott 34a) with original gum and surface abrasion (Diena certificate) and others with A.P.S. certificates, huge total catalogue value

1994 og Italy Extensive Unused Collection. To 2004 in three Lighthouse hingeless albums with slipcases, begins with the Neapolitan Province and the Italy 19th Century issues (these are in mixed condition and include some no gum stamps), the 20th Century has very few empty spaces and is filled with numerous desirable sets, including Air Post and other Back-of-Book (the 1933 Triptych Official has the left stamp re-attached), includes Italian Socialist Republic, the post-war issues appear to be lacking only the 1961 Map error and the 1,000l Parcel Post for completion, plus there is a group of better items on sales cards that did not have a space in the album (mostly occupation issues), the 20th Century is original gum with many Mint N.H. stamps, a few minor faults, but overwhelmingly Fine-Very Fine, this would be the perfect collection to start with, since generally only the scarcer stamps are missing, fourteen certificates accompany

1998 c Japan 1930s-40s Interwar Period and WWII Postal History. About 75 covers or cards (a few unused), wide range of military and civilian uses with censor markings, some covers with original enclosures, quite a bit related to Okinawa postal history but also North and Central China Expeditionary Forces, Taiwan, Manchukuo and Korea, transcription enclosed of dates, origins and destinations, most fascinating of all is over thirteen original Japanese chops with entire kit of ink tray and pad, some appear to be personal chops as we linked one to a Okinawa train station manager ("Matsutomi"), others may be censor chops, mostly Fine-Very Fine, a wonderful group which is ripe for further research

2003   Netherlands 1852 First Issue Used Accumulation.133 5c, 258 10c and 37 15c, incl. some in pairs, neatly arranged in a stockbook, virtually all with full to large margins all around, incl. several with sheet margins or showing portions of the adjoining stamp, excellent range of shade and cancels, there are probably some small faults, but all with Very Fine-Extremely Fine appearance, an impressive group that were clearly handpicked for their superior quality, Scott Retail without any premiums for the shades, cancels or pairs
