Four stamps totaling 54c, incl. the Roessler 1c "Graf Zeppelin" overprint that he applied to some 1c Green stamps because he felt the U.S. Post Office had not appropriately commemorated the Graf Zeppelin's flight to America (he almost went to jail for fraudulently issuing a U.S. postage stamp), tied by Lakehurst Oct. 28, 1928 duplex Wright Brothers cacheted card, sent to Berlin, Friedrichshafen backstamp, card with small bend at top right, otherwise Very Fine, this unauthorized overprint is scarce used on a flown cover, mentioned but not priced in Sieger (Image)
