U.S. 10c tied by Los Angeles Apr. 19 circular datestamp on registered cover addressed to "Miss Amelia Earhart" in Mexico City, Mexico and inscribed and signed "Carried by air, Amelia Earhart", then reforwarded with Mexico 40c Official applied and tied by Apr. 20 circular datestamp to New York via Newark where it received U.S. 15c and 3c stamps tied by Newark May 8 circular datestamp, Mexico, Newark and New York backstamps

VERY FINE. A RARE COVER AND ONE OF THE FEW AVAILABLE THAT WERE CARRIED AND SIGNED BY EARHART ON BOTH OF HER SOLO FLIGHTS.

1396 c Worldwide Zeppelin Covers. Over 170 mostly different flown covers or cards, 1912-38, majority German or American despatch (incl. No. C18 first day flown cover), but also some South American flights and European Treaty Ports, incl. four from the 1929 Orient flight with final destinations to Cairo, Jerusalem (2p.m.) and Athens, some other areas incl. Egypt "1951" error on card (Sieger 105Axa), several Zeppelin picture postcards, most were purchased individually in the 1970s and selected for their freshness and clean strikes, therefore condition is well above the norm, several were from the personal collection of Hermann Sieger, where they were purchased individually in a 1972 Koerber sale (each of these has a certificate from Koerber), in addition, there are another 16 covers with Zeppelin stamps used on airmail (non-Zeppelin) covers, Very Fine, this would make an outstanding start for someone who wanted to seriously collect Zeppelin flights of the World
