Single of 10c and horizontal pair of 2c, affixed and tied by "Shanghai MR 11 99" circular datestamps on registered picture postcard to Hainburg, Austria, card originating in Peking where a 4c I.C.P. and 10c Coiling Dragon was applied and tied by light Peking dollar chops cancels, Shanghai dollar chop and "R" handstamps (one in circle), couple light bends not affecting stamps, Very Fine (Image)

India die sunk on 227 x 150mm card, Chinese design closely resembling U.S. 1c Louisiana Purchase, other six designs all are different countries or "International Postage", U.S. 1883 2c No. 210 labeled "INTERNATIONAL POSTAGE" with value expressed in Brazilian currency, and a frame with "PERU" label of an 1899 Cuban stamp and frame of a 100r Brazilian Official labeled "NEW ZEALAND", an additional early stage engraving at right and so on, it has been suggested that this is the work of an apprentice engraver to show (and improve) his hand lettering work, Very Fine, fascinating item that has been attributed to the American Bank Note Co.
