VERY FINE. A CHOICE ORIGINAL-GUM EXAMPLE OF THIS GREAT BRITAIN RARITY, WHICH WAS PREPARED BUT NEVER PUT INTO USE.
Right after these stamps were delivered, it was decided not to use this special stamp for government offices. All but 21 sheets were destroyed. Of these, 13 sheets were used on Postmaster's Notices and one sheet was sent to Roland Hill for cancellation experiments.
Signed Calves. With photocopy of 1986 Holcombe and 1987 Renon certificates. SG £32,000 (Image)
