1402 og   imageJORDAN 1920-1950 predominantly unused old-time collection written up on album leaves, wealth of better items commencing with 1920 (Nov.) issue perf. 15x14 to 5p and perf. 14 to 20p (2) including 1m inverted overprint, both perfs, 1922 (Nov) surcharges perf. 15 x14 to 9p, with the scarce 5/10p on 5m (2), 2p on 2p red and black and 9p on 9p "intense black" surcharges, perf. 14 1p surcharge in red (2), 5/10p on 5m and the rare 20p on 20p, 1922 (Dec) "Govt. of Eastern Arabia" perf. 15 x14 to 9p (2) and perf. 14 to 5p, 1923 (Mar) overprints perf. 15 x14 to 5p (incl. the rare 1m with "short "k" variety (of which only one example can exist), the 5p value with inverted overprint, perf. 14 to 20p (2 one with variety), 2m with double surcharge, 20p (2) one with inverted and the other with the triple, one inverted overprint (one of only six probably known to exist), 1923 (Apr-Oct) a good range of surcharges with values to 2p on 20p, Hejaz overprints with varieties including 10p on 5p with top line of overprint omitted, 1923 (May) Independence on Palestine to 20p including two "933" for "923" date errors, 1924 (Sep-Nov) issues with blocks of four with date errors, 1925 to 20p, 1927 New Constitution, 1930 Locust set incl. 15m with inverted overprint, 1930 to £1, 1933 Tourism set to £1, thereafter complete to 1950 with imperfs, Officials and Dues.
