Numerous combination frankings are present with other Columbian Exposition denominations, including the 3c, 4c, 5c, and 6c, as well as with Small Bank Note issues and postage due stamps. The covers represent a wide variety of domestic uses, including drop letters, plus several foreign destinations, and display an impressive array of handstamp and machine cancels. This substantial holding showcases a wide array of domestic first-class, third-class, special delivery, and registered uses, including first-month (January 1893) usages, mourning covers, hotel corner cards, religious-themed contents, and a rich variety of advertising covers with matching stationery, personal letters, order forms, and checks. Numerous covers show the 2c stamp used in combination with other Columbian denominations (4c, 5c, 8c, 10c), as well as with contemporary special delivery and postage due stamps. Highlights include imprint singles on cover, auxiliary markings (e.g., pointed hands, "Delayed in Transit"), 2c broken hat varieties, and mail to or from pre-statehood territories such as Arizona, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Utah. Government-related uses from the U.S. Senate, House of Representatives, and various state offices are also represented.
