The Postal markings for the third Base Post Office designated as "C" were prepared, with additional markings such as "DEP" (deposit), "DELY" (delivery) and "REG (registered), assigned to the mail cars on the Shanhaikwan-Hanku and Tientsin-Shanhaikwan railway lines. These markings were mostly used in combination with the "B.R.A. 5 Cents" overprinted stamps used to pay the late fee on mail posted from 10 to 60 minutes prior to the departure of trains (Image)
