United
States 1909 Bluish Paper (363) 1909 8c olive green, heavy h.r., centered to right, very good, with 1993 PFC. The June 1910 Third Assistant Postmaster General's report states that 4,000 (ten sheets) of the 8c were printed on Bluish Paper. It is
believed that none of the 4c and 8c Bluish Paper stamps were distributed to post offices, and that all of the examples in collectors' hands reached the market through the Travers-Steinmetz exchange and the 1914 National Museum trades to H. F. Colman
(12 copies) and Nassau Stamp Company (65 copies). A rare stamp, especially in sound condition, cat. Value $30000 (Image)

States 1910-13 Issues (389) 1911 3c deep violet, Type I, Orangeburg Coil single, usual centering, pressed out crease at upper right, otherwise fine, with 2008 PSE certificate graded "G30". The 3c Orangeburg coil was made by the Post Office Department
in 1911, specifically for use by the Bell Pharmaceutical Company. They were used to send product samples to physicians and were put through the first-class cancelling machine at Orangeburg, New York. Due to the coil stamps' use on mass mailings, many
