South and East Borneo. Postcard used on Java. 3½ Cent general issue for the Navy area Bu.284 written at Bandjermasin 9 Sept '03 (family affairs), not cancelled on Borneo but in Tegal -6.10.-0.3.- from there to Djakarta. The censor mark is
a common type used on Java. Obviously it was faster to ask someone going to Java to mail the postcard there, than to send it through the southeast Borneo postal service!

Lesser Soenda Islands. Bali. 3½ Cent general issue for the Navy area, reply-paid card Bu.285 from Denpasar to Ampenan, tied by Teikoku Seifu pmk in lilac (type 302), censored and showing chops in red from Takeuchi and an unidentified one
in violet. The card is undated, under the stamp imprint is written '4' which could indicate that the rate has increased to 4 cent (from 1 July 1944). Also 3½ Cent postcard Bu.284 from Ampenan to Bandoeng (Image)
