in red ink 'betoel f 5' + initials, meaning that the amount is indeed 5 roepiah. Very rare franking! (Image)

West Borneo. 1 Gulden van Konijnenburg without overprint no. 54g (very rare!) and 25 cent Kreisler with black small anchor overprint no. 421z-28b in pair together on m.o. fragment cancelled Pontianak 23.11.4 (backstamped Ngabang 10.12.5
and 12.12.5, vNV.012). Also Japanese stamp of 10 sen from the 2nd Showa series J47 in vertical pair, cancelled Sanggau 29.2.4. Although this pair is illustrated in several literature, this happens to be a back-dated forgery made after the war in
Osaka. Nevertheless useful for reference (information added to the lot) (Image)
