An interesting exhibit of covers from the 25 Dec 1954 AIRCRAFT CRASH of a BOAC stratocruiser at Prestwick, England. Most of the passengers & crew were killed and most of mail was destroyed or burnt. The exhibit contains 6 crash covers with special handstamps as well as research material with photocopies, newspaper clippings, etc. All the covers are addr to Canada and one is from Harrods Dept Store in London having perfin stamps.
