Attractive printed engraving (9.5 x 7 in) of the Hamburg-America Line steamer / tallship "Cimbria". She was in service from 1867 onwards and sank on 19 Jan 1883 with a loss of 400 lives (after being struck in fog by the "Sultan"). This was the largest maritime disaster at the time. VF.
