Interesting stampless cover with m/s date of 25 Oct, 1830 from Saint John to Fredericton NB. Nicely written up on an album page. Has scarce ST JOHN nude fleuron h/s and is rated "IN2". The cover is addr to WILLIAM BLACK during his brief term (1829-31) as PRESIDENT OF THE COUNCIL OF NEW BRUNSWICK. There is a notation which reads "Enclosing a Guinea" then another in the hand of Black himself which reads "James Boggs for School License Paid Approved W. Black 25 Oct, 1830". F.
