Unused b/w photo postcard depicting aviators CHARLES NUNGESSER & FRANCOIS COLI who attempted the first non-stop Trans-Atlantic flight in 1927 from Paris to New York. The two pilots who were French WWI aviation heroes, took off in their Levasseur biplane from Paris 8 May, 1927 & were last seen over Ireland. Their plane disappeared after that. It is considered one of the great mysteries of aviation of what happened to the pilots & their plane. F (Image)
