 PARIS FRANCE 1910 FLOOD:
All diff collection of b/w postcards depicting scenes of the GREAT FLOOD OF PARIS in 1910. This catastrophe was caused by the Seine River which was carrying winter rains from its tributaries.
The water pushed upwards from overflowing sewers & subway tunnels. These postcards show the terrible flooding, rescue boats with fancy people & poor people, etc. Also one Flood postcard from 1924. F-VF, most unused (15) (Image)
