Beautifully written-up on an exhibition page noting that THIS IS THE ONLY KNOWN DIRECT CROSS-GULF COVER FROM THE WEST COAST OF NEWF'D DURING THE ABNC PERIOD AND 1 OF ONLY 5 COVERS RECORDED PAYING THE SHORT-LIVED (1872-6) 6¢ RATE TO THE USA.
