2497   imageWWII "V-1 ROCKET" related Feldpost cover from Paris. Has Feldpost 7 July 1944 cancel & Luftwaffe number "L24915 Lgpa Paris" sender's address on back flap. This was the base of the 3rd Luftwaffe Bomber group (effective 5 July 1944) from which V-1 Rockets were launched. The V-1 was an early cruise missile flying bomb & was used late in the war.
