Worldwide Internet/Mail Sale - November 22, 2023

Welcome to our 51st Anniversary Auction with over 7,400 lots to choose from. This is one of our bulkiest sales in years. Much fresh new material has been processed for this sale. Here are some of the highlights:
  • An excellent section of Zeppelin covers with a terrific variety of flights, cachets, frankings and postmarks.
  • A solid section of Newfoundland with better singles, sets and covers. Many scarce Pence issues are to be found including mint #'s 2, 7 and 9. The Airmail section includes a mint #C1 Hawker and a mint #C5 Columbia.
  • Canada contains 19th Century classics up to modern including scarce Pence issues, Jubilees to $5 and specialty items. There are many nice imperforate pairs in the QV-KGVI eras. Don't miss the scarce modern errors including missing colours.
  • This sale is loaded with fine worldwide covers, postcards and postal history including airmail related, illustrated advertising and military items. There are some very good British Africa covers.
  • There is a strong section of Italy including better singles, sets and errors plus many interesting fascist era postcards.
  • Nice British Commonwealth with stronger sections being Falkland Islands, Ascension, Australia, Gold Coast and St. Helena.
  • Our sections of large lots continue to be very popular with collectors and dealers alike. Here you will find collections, box lots, dealer stocks and estate lots. You can fill a lot of album spaces at a reasonable cost with these lots.
  • Lots 7378-7467 contain our coin section with lots of interesting items. There are many gold and silver coins plus some paper money.
Don't forget that there is No Buyer's Fee at Vance Auctions and bidding is in inexpensive Canadian dollars. There is no extra charge for credit card use. Bidding information displayed at Stamp Auction Network for our auction lots is now being updated. Bidding on items in the sale will continue until Midnight EST on Wednesday, November 22, 2023.

Please note that bids come in from many sources in addition to SAN (including e-mail, telephone, fax, mail, and our own web site). Even if your bid is 'green' at SAN when bidding ends, you could still be outbid. If your bid turns 'red' after Midnight on the last night of bidding, it means that a higher bid was received from another source before Midnight. Auction results for Sale #365 will be posted at www.vanceauctions.com on the evening of Saturday, November 25th.
