Vance Auctions Ltd. Sale - 383

Worldwide Internet/Mail Sale - November 25, 2026

We are pleased to present our November 25th Auction. This is our 54th Anniversary Auction since we started out in the stamp business in 1972.

This sale has all kinds of interesting worldwide material. It is loaded with better caliber sets, singles, covers, postcards, and collections from all corners of the globe.

Here are some of the November 25th highlights:

  • An excellent selection of Australian States from all six States. Of particular note is a scarce lot of South Australia Official Department Stamps which are rarely offered (see Lots 3865-3937).
  • A strong section of Bermuda from Victorian to modern issues with better singles, varieties, and proofs.
  • Zeppelin covers from Germany and other countries. There are covers and cards from many different flights.
  • British Columbia including three of the rarest issues #'s 1, 3, and 4, all with Certificates.
  • Classic Canada with Pence, Cents, Large Queens, Small Queens, and Jubilees. Of note are mint examples of #'s 2, 7, 9 and 13 all with Certificates. The Jubilees have values up to $5 including a rare mint block of the $1 plus some nice proofs.
  • Great Britain including four mint Penny Blacks (all with Certificates), embossed issues, Five Pound Orange mint and used, and scarce high value Officials.
  • Canada Semi-Official Airmails including a specialized group of the Aero Club of Canada & "Burning Zeppelin" issue with various papers and tete-beche pairs.
  • Excellent worldwide covers, postal history and postcards. These range from stampless to modern.
  • Those looking for larger lots will not be disappointed. There are hundreds of intact collections, box lots and accumulations to choose from.
Don't forget that there is No Buyer's Fee at Vance Auctions and bidding is conducted in inexpensive Canadian dollars. There is no extra charge for credit card use. Bidding information is updated at Stamp Auction Network. Bidding on items in the sale will continue until Midnight EST on Wednesday, November 25, 2026.

Please note that bids come in from many sources in addition to StampAuctionNetwork (including e-mail, telephone, fax, mail, and our own web site). Even if your bid is 'green' at SAN when bidding ends, you could still be outbid. If your bid turns 'red' after Midnight on the last night of bidding, it means that a higher bid was received from another source before Midnight. Auction results for Sale #383 will be posted at www.vanceauctions.com on the evening of Saturday, November 28th.

We hope that you will enjoy the November 25th sale. Good luck with your bids!
