Worldwide Mail/Internet Auction - December 2, 2020

Welcome to our December 2nd auction. This is our 48th Anniversary sale since we started running our auctions back in 1972. Many great lots have come into our offices and are included in this sale. Here are some of the highlights:
  • Extensive older Canada with Pence, 1859 Cents, Large and Small Queens, and Jubilees up to $5.
  • Many interesting lots of cacheted United States Space covers which have been signed by astronauts.
  • Excellent section of Falkland Islands with many better singles, sets, covers, and varieties. This section includes a scarce mint #52 surcharge with RPS Certificate.
  • Strong section of Great Britain from 1840 to modern. This section includes QV, KE, and KGV Pound values and a nice group of covers, postcards, and Mulreadys.
  • Austria with good singles, sets, and covers plus some scarce Lombardy-Venetia.
  • Canada Semi-Official Airmails with singles, covers, and complete sheets.
  • United States with many key older items with Certificates plus a great section of covers.
  • Hundreds of larger lots including collections, accumulations, box lots, and dealer stocks. These are always popular with collectors and dealers alike.
  • Canada Provinces with attractive lots from Newfoundland, Br. Columbia, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island.
Don't forget that there is No Buyer's Fee at Vance Auctions and bidding is in inexpensive Canadian dollars. There is no extra charge for credit card use. Bidding information displayed at Stamp Auction Network for our auction lots is now being updated. Bidding on items in the sale will continue until Midnight EST on Wednesday, December 2, 2020.

Please note that bids come in from many sources in addition to SAN (including e-mail, telephone, fax, mail, and our own web site). Even if your bid is 'green' at SAN when bidding ends, you could still be outbid. If your bid turns 'red' after Midnight on the last night of bidding, it means that a higher bid was received from another source before Midnight. Auction results for Sale #347 will be posted at www.vanceauctions.com on the evening of Saturday, December 5th.
