Worldwide Internet/Mail Sale - January 30, 2019

Welcome to our January 30, 2019 auction. This is our 335th Auction since we started running our sales in 1972. We are continuing our tradition of offering bidders a wide range of worldwide material with over 7,900 lots in this sale. Here are some of the highlights:
  • A good range of Far East highlighted by China including two Monkey stamps (Lots 1996-7) plus scarcer mint stamps and souvenir sheets.
  • Excellent classic British Commonwealth with many scarce KGV singles and sets with strength in the British Africa and Pacific areas.
  • A specialized collection of used Canada blocks (see Lots 5479-5586) with many scarcer items including Jubilees to $5 and Quebec high values. This was the lifetime collection of one collector.
  • Extensive Canada singles and sets with many key items including an Inverted Seaway with Certificate.
  • United States with many key items having Certificates including a 4¢ Pan-Am mint inverted centre plus Shanghai overprints and Hawaii.
  • Hundreds of lots of worldwide covers, postal history and postcards, most of which are illustrated.
  • Over 1,800 larger lots including collections, accumulations, box lots, and dealer stocks. These lots should provide fun and profit for collectors and dealers alike.
