The c.d.s. with stars at foot appears to be Dairen, and one sees trace of "35.8.?" date (Aug. 1946). The $2 domestic letter rate was in effect from 15 Aug. 1946 to 3 Oct. 1946, so this is a very early usage.

The c.d.s. appears to be "Huanren" and one sees trace of "36.7.?" (July 1947). The $10 domestic letter rate was in effect from 14 Mar. 1947 to 23 Oct. 1947. This is believed to be a very late usage.
