Double-ring Bologna origin postmark and manuscript "2" rate mark on address side, the fractioned stamp added on reverse at the Post Office to indicate the amount of postage due and tied by a black grid cancel. The stamp itself is previously cancelled, likely representing a postal fraud, in addition to being a very rare franking. Stamp fresh with ample margins, the folded letter sheet somewhat roughly opened but otherwise sound, Fine to Very Fine. A very rare use and franking, of which few examples are known, signed Raybaudi, A. Diena, Gazzi & Sismondo, with 1977 Gazzi, 1995 Raybaudi and 2000 Sismondo certificates.
