LotNo. Symbol CatNo. Lot Description
1285   imagePalestine, "The Olive Branch" Mind-Blowing Collection with Endless Varieties, 1918-42, Collection with additional stockpages for duplicates covering the stamps of Palestine under British Mandate, both mint & used, beginning with a plate proof of the 1918 1pi in milky blue as a marginal imperforate block, and multiples of the deep blue stamp including one mint, three used, a plate block of four, and #1 & 2 with specimen overprint (both with cert). Countless more perf, overprint & plate varieties await, and once we reach the 1927-42 Pictorials, we're presented some extreme paper varieties, like the 7m dark violet on thin, semi-transparent, vertically ribbed paper (Bale 105b), this too with an accompanying certificate. Also, plate blocks, gutter blocks, excellent coverage of the postage dues including a proof of J2 as an imperf corner pair printed on both sides (with certificate), specimen overprints on the 2nd & 3rd series, and much more including APC perfins, OPDA revenues, and Luboml Local Post.
