Dr. Stanley Bierman conducted 19 interviews between 1984 and 1999 as a way of preserving the oral histories of some of the important philatelists, professionals and collectors, of the 20th century. While interviewing Bernard Harmer, Harmer stated that Colson was a good philatelist and if he signed something it was genuine. Bierman's interviews can be purchased from the APS for $10 each.
