Scott $30,000.

Despite the lack of backstamps, we have no doubt this cover is a genuine item. First, we know of a cover identical to this one (same addressee, arrangement of stamps, Washington D.C. substation cancel color and location, registry label placement except of course for different label and registry numbers (19468/19450), and that cover is backstamped NY and Munich. Furthermore, there are two other covers with the same arrangement of stamps, Washington D.C. substation cancel color and location, registry label placement addressed in the same hand to Luzerne Switzerland and Abo Finland.
